Default Conjure Flame + Intensity for Ranger turret?

Does Intensity trigger when you attack under the effects of conjure flame?

If you had Conjure flame up, pluss EbsoH, fav winds, kindle arrows, plus some bow attack (pen attack, sloth hunter's) are you going to do 40-50% of that damage to nearby foes?

It would only trigger for one arrow and then you would need to recast.

Intensity
Skill. (10 seconds.) The next time you deal elemental damage with a spell, other nearby targets take 40...50% of that damage.
It will only work with spells. So no, Intensity won't trigger when you attack under the effects of conjure flame.

Intesity combo would work better on rits anyways, Intensity + Spirit Rift/Destructive Was Glaive

ArenaNet managed to make rits even beastlier.

technically, conjure flame is a spell and it is the thing dealing the extra damage. I can see why the OP was curious about this.

Even if it did work with Conjures, it would do terrible damage (up to 50% of 17), and that's one attack with a 10 second cool down and 5e that's not affected by Expertise.

This is true, and completely sad; as if they needed any more AoE power.
